HILTON SUITES- TORONTO-MARKHAM CONFERENCE CENTRE
I paid top dollar for 2 rooms for me and my family for 5 nights stay (8/1-8/6). The staff were not very helpful nor friendly. Our reception was rather lukewarm. We were placed in the extended stay wing of the hotel, unbeknownst to us, mindfully I booked regular rooms, so we weren’t given other options. Fast forward to Early Saturday morning around 3:30 am we were subjugated to the worst encounter of our lives. The security guard named Triston approached myself and my friend at the bar lobby area in a menacing, rather very aggressive, and rude demeanor demanding that we leave the area right away because the cleaners need to clean up. All of this occurred while we were almost done eating our after club meal peacefully. I stated to him that his rude behavior to us as guests was unacceptable and I asked to speak to the manager on duty. He demanded yet again that we need to leave or else he will call the cops on us! I stated that he should be fired for threatening us. I spoke with the designated manager only to have the matter unresolved. A few hours later we are getting kicked out of our hotel rooms and were threatened to leave or else they will again call the cops on us. Moreover, he completely fabricated a story of him being threatened by my words that he should be fired. Quite laughable! I gladly obliged and booked rooms at the Shangri-la hotel downtown Toronto for the rest of our stay.
