WHAT A JOKE!!!! EVICTED AFTER MIDNIGHT - Family of 4!! DO NOT STAY HERE! Go somewhere else where you will be treated with respect!!
We were attending the hotel for a Dance Competition that weekend! We were evicted after midnight with 2 sleeping kids in the room - around 915 on a Saturday night we had 2 other couples in our room to watch the hockey game - have a few drinks and a social visit - we may have gotten loud a couple of times but nothing too crazy... the security guard game and told us to keep it down and really there was no need for that complaint! We even said, maybe talk to the hockey kids that are running up and down the hallways knocking on doors - he apologized and that was it.. and the room below us, had dogs barking all day and night - so tell me how we were that loud? We WERENT!!!
Around 11, all of our guest left and as soon as we opened the door, a different security guard was standing there basically with his ear to the door and as everyone was leaving to go back to their room, he was asking where everyone was going and to get to their rooms - one of my friends even asked what his problem was as we weren't being loud. Then he wouldn't let us close the door and go to bed, he stopped the door with his foot which then made myself and my husband upset and we had 2 kids in bed already - we finally got the door shut and he was still yelling.. we shut the lights off and went to bed. (Even when we were going to bed, kids were still running the hall - and yet we got evicted)
Close to midnight, we had a knock at the door (in my pajamas) and there were 3 security officers and the supervisor said we had 30 min to pack up our things and evict the hotel or the police would be called. So I had to wake up 2 kids, pack up dance costumes, pack 4 suit cases up, a fridge full of food and basically I had to leave food as we didn't have anywhere to go, find a new hotel. THIS HOTEL threw out a family of 4 after midnight and didn't care at all. The security guards told their manager they came to our room 3 times with warnings and that is a LIE - it was one time and even then, he knew it wasn't us - we had a warning and that was at 930.. If we cant laugh in a hotel room at 930 - then there is a problem...
THIS HOTEL IS AWFUL - the staff is brutal and the tall white security guard that they have working there should be spoken too - he made us feel violated and he was being aggressive - my husband made a comment to him and I guess he didn't like it - I guess that why we got kicked out - but they lied and they all stuck together - So if you are reading this, I hope you guys cant sleep at night - you threw a family of 4 out on the streets with no where to go - and for NO REASON AT ALL - and the next day my daughter danced at 9:15am and could not preform her performance because she was over tired and exhausted - We even said that we had to leave the hotel at 8am and all 3 of you didn't care. This was the most important day for my daughters dance and you all ruined it!!! SHE WAS SLEEPING and WE WERE ALREADY IN BED - when you all came the last time, you got us out of bed!!
SHAME ON THE HOTEL MANAGER and THE SECURITY STAFF!! My friends that were in the room with us, even complained and said we weren't making the noise... We have been to thousands of hotels from hockey tournaments, dance competitions to special occasions and never once in my life, have I ever been evicted and spoken to like that ever or even being treated like that!!! Maybe they should have focussed on the kids and dogs making noise rather than 6 people in a room watching the hockey game and having social drinks... we all had to be up for 6am - so it wasn't like were throwing a huge party with kids sleeping in the room!
AWFUL HOTEL STAFF!!!!!! Doesn't matter what I said or tried to stick up for myself, the hotel stuck together and the Hilton Corporate staff, all took their word as well. I even asked for video footage and the notes to where it said they came to our room 3 times prior.. and I didn't receive any of it!
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!
