I did not experience the spa service may be the cause of covid 19, I hope to have this service next time when I stay the Hilton Markham. I think the service is good and the room is clean, but I think the difference between the new building and the old building is a bit big. I have experienced the new building this time. I hope that next time I can live in the old building that the service staff said, because I think that one has better environment.
Nice hotel to getaway for the weekend to relax and unwind. Restaurant on-site and many nearby. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher, kettle, pots, utensils etc. enabled us to eat in when we wanted to.
Pls beware I was charged extra in my bill for dinner which was included in price. Breakfast was stale. And coffee was cold in morning. Rooms were clean and COVID protocols were followed. Parking is 20$ extra.
This particular property of Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Center & Spa reached the peak of nothingness for those with elite status with Hilton Honors. As a 3 years diamond member (not a credit card), my status was never once mentioned by the check in lady and no upgrade whatsoever was given. Very surprisingly that this upgrade was never offered or even mentioned during this empty covid season. This property at the time of the stay was at the maximum of 10% capacity. The parking lot was empty, yet the hotel wouldn’t even discount my parking. Lounge was closed but offered the in room service. When I asked for an extra juice, I was told only entitled for one drink since there was only me in the room... One of the worse experience for elite member of any Hilton properties, VERY VERY DISSATISFIED. I was actually looking for a long term stay from July till the end of this year. I decided to stay for a week just for a trial and guess what? Just booked a 5 months stay with the other chain! Good job Hilton!
Also they put all the guests on one floor during COVID despite they've got 11 floors and 2 buildings. The room I was assigned can clearly hear the train horn! LOUD AND CLEAR!
