Fun, great guide and beautiful area. Really worth it, we had never Segway’d but will certainly do so again! Definitely recommend this

Thanks Richard W. Glad to hear that you are now a convert to Segway. This means that you can confidently go Segway'n in any major city you visit as there will be a Segway Tour located there.
But yes here in Devonport it sure is beautiful and really worth it.
Best regards

We have been on 3 Segway tours and enjoyed all of them, but Eridani was great. My wife and I were the only ones on a 3:30pm tour and we told her that we had been on Segwaya before (although by no means pros). But she sized us up pretty well and gave us a lot extra. The views of were fabulous and the touring can cover a lot at Segway speeds. Fun activity. I know - you don't tip in New Zealand, but she was so good about it all - we tipped her. Take the time to do this tour. You'll love it.
Thanks for your review we appreciate you taking the time to do so. Eridani told me about your tour and enjoyed showing you all her favourite Devonport locations and points of interest. She was super blown away with the tip - I guess she'll keep on working for me now !!!

Segway is the best means to roam the city and see its heritage. Best instructors with awesome attitude. They help u with training and then lead u all the way. They also take lots of photos and videos for u. Must do activity in devonport and north island. Will rate it 12/10
Wow gaurav g
12/10 What an awesome rating. Thanks for that, we love Segways and agree they are the best means to roam and see Auckland's historic village of Devonport. Your photos and video's will be a treasured reminder of the FUN you had.
Cheers

As soon as we knew there was a segway tour in Auckland, we booked it. Alison, our guide, took us past all the beautiful houses and up to mount Victoria and the gun emplacements as well as the beautiful open spaces and the beaches. Devenport looks like a lovely place to live. The tour is so much fun and zipping up the hill to the mount is a breeze. It is the easiest thing in the world to learn to do and once you try it you'll be hooked. It is the best way to see a city or a town because you can cover so much ground so quickly. Get over on an early ferry- say 110 ish and do the tour then have brunch at Corelli's. Or have brunch and do the 12.30 tour. Either way, you won't regret it. And everyoen smiles as you pass them by. Segway envy is a REAL thing. Yee-ha.
Hey Farmer668,
Just love your review and I'll pass it on to Alison who will be thrilled that you enjoyed the Segway experience so much. Also great to hear that you were impressed by Devonport's charm.

Loved our 1-hour tour with Eridani. Never been on a segway before but Eridani's instructions and safety briefing had us up and going with confidence in a very short time.
It was a fun tour as well as informative. Even though we are Aucklanders who have been to Devonport heaps of times, Eridani showed us places we'd never been to.
Eridani took great care to ensure we were safe at all times on the Segways - checking traffic, alerting us to bumps in the footpath or pointing out low-hanging trees in our path.
My only criticism is that they didn't respond to my phone message or the paid online booking. I had to phone twice to get hold of them and ensure they'd got our booking (which was for a special date that I didn't want to miss). However, I suspect that most of their customers just arrive at Devonport Wharf and phone them from there.
Hi Jocelyn W.
I do remember your phone call so I'm pleased that despite the initial hassle getting hold of us you enjoyed your Segway experience and you felt safe and cared for. We do aim to please so "All's well that ends well"
Thanks for taking the time to post your review.

The Tour took me to the sites of the North Shore I didn't know existed.
The North Heads Historic Military defence sites with a large Gun, with Bunkers and Tunnels was just one of the highlights. Having ridden a Segway's on overseas tours I found it very easy to ride.
My guide was very knowledgeable about the Devonport area and she spoke with passion about the history of the people and the places on the two and a half hour ride.
Thanks Grant B. It's great to get your feedback. All of our guides are local residents or if not now have grown up here in Devonport therefore are passionate about the village and it's history, so thanks for your 5 stars and for taking the time to rate us.
