Description: Damini Macelleria & Affini (“butchery and goods”) is an intersection of quality, knowledge and creativity celebrated by those who seek greatness in taste and in health. Just beyond the front doors begins a voyage of taste, from aromas to flavors, a joyous atmosphere full of tangible passion; a sensation transmitted by those that truly love what they do. The project is the joint effort of two brothers, Gian Pietro and Giorgio, who have united their vision and skill in reopening the historic family macelleria, aiming beyond the classic butcher counter to provide a different and unique experience. The holistic concept extends from the tables of the restaurant to the food and wine lined aisles of the bottega. Since 2015 Damini Macelleria & Affini has held the first and only Michelin star for a butchery & restaurant in all of Europe, obtained by chef Giorgio Damini.

We did not eat at the restaurant. I'm just rating their shop and Caffe. And based on our brief experience at the store, we are definitely reserve a table in the near future. We bought thinly sliced brisket (차돌박이) and beef on a stick. They were fabulous and just because the shop is tied to the restaurant, the price was very reasonable. We grilled both meat lightly and enjoyed the full flavor of the beef. Of course, they were great with a shot of soju. If you don't know soju, then you are missing the perfect compliment to grilled meat. Haha. And then we left the restaurant after having their Caffe. I do consider myself as a coffee snob and Damini's Caffe was the best I have had in Italy. So far stars for now. More to follow once I try their restaurant.

We had a business lunch here - everything was just PERFECT! Start with an excellent service, fanstastic wine selection, great food (both pasta and meat dishes). The best: a different approach to italian high end cuisine with all the good ingredients - but combined in a different way. Not that easy to find as the restaurant also boasts a large shop in the front for wine, italian specialities and meat. We had a raw meat dish (tartare italian style) with excellent meat, different pasta dishes and ended with ice cream and espresso. For me this restaurant would deserve a Michelin Star ....

Has to be one of the finest restaurants in the area, great ambience, great attention to detail and service levels at a very acceptable level. The food was excellent, this was the opinion of the other 11 diners as well. Great Deli restaurant, it's a must if you in the area

During our recent trip to the Veneto, my two daughters took me to this restaurant. It is attractive and the food was creative and for the most part delicious. Service started out very professionally and friendly, but deteriorated as parties of men arrived. Owner visited every table but ours (we were only women there). We tried in vain to get waiter's attention to refill our wine glasses; but, when we resorted to pouring our own wine, he rushed over as if offended. Exceedingly slow service continued to the end of the meal. It was necessary for one of my daughters to get up from our table and interrupt a conversation between our waiter and the owner in order to request the check. We had been there for three hours.
