Stopped here on the drive from Te Anau to Queenstown for brunch with my family.
Definitely worth the stop, food & coffee were great, not overpriced like some places in NZ.

Great find. We had stopped at the Hunny Shop and found this place next door which made the stop worthwhile. We tried a few of their sandwiches and they were so tasty. The lamb burger was my favourite. Hubby liked the pulled pork and the teenager reckoned that the vegetable one was best as it had a tasty chutney. Worth making it a lunch stop !

Unbeatably excellent coffee and very good and wholesome NZ country-style food. A welcome relief to find a good breakfast place early in the morning.

Great coffee and tasty breakfast items in rural Garston on the South Island - great place to stop on the way from/to Milford Sound or Te Aneau and Queenstown. We were there first thing in the morning, so no crowd, but they do cook most items to order so there can be a bit of a wait. The staff are friendly and work hard. Charming little place to take a break, refuel yourself with coffee and a hot sandwich, and chill.

Really disappointed with our visit today. They are charging an extra $1.20 for a alternate milk. This made a large oat latte over $8. That’s the most expensive coffee I have purchased in any cafe in NZ and this was a food truck. The coffee was good though so pleased about that.
We had also ordered a burger and a lamb sandwich. After waiting 35 mins I asked where it was and she hadn’t got the docket so no lunch and we took the refund. I appreciate they were busy but still a disappointing experience.
