Its surprising where you find great coffee and food. A little town with a pub and a couple of shops but the best coffee and great service. You cant beat friendly service and people.

What an amazing looking coffee van. It’s a credit to the owner. But don’t commit the deadly tourist sin of videoing the van out of admiration. My sin was to video from one to side around the entrance door to the counter side…pausing momentarily at the door.
My rookie mistake was the ‘pausing’ part. That resulted in a stern ‘you can’t film in here’ (6 feet from the door). I’m not sure what classified coffee business was happening inside. From that moment on, our presence received a lukewarm reception.
Of the the two staff on duty, the dark-haired lady was very friendly, but Ms Cranky Pants wasn’t impressed.
As far as the coffee goes…awesome. One half of the staff…awesome. Cranky Pants…well, life isn’t that bad.

Best flat white coffee in NZ. We also ate “The Bomb”, wow! Delicious. Great staff and really cool Banksy style graphics on the Airstream. It may be New Zealand's Most Famous Inland Food Truck but worth seeking out for the coffee and food!

We drove from Queenstown to Te Anau this morning and stopped at Coffee Bomb for breakfast. The coffee and the tea were both excellent. We're American coffee drinkers and found the coffee to be excellent and not as bitter as some espresso can be. All the food we ordered was excellent, but of particular note was the lamb sandwich and the veggie bomb. Might seem like a strange choice for breakfast but we figured when in New Zealand you need some lamb. Everyone was extremely friendly and have great service. It operates out of a converted airstream so be prepared for that, but there are a few outside tables and chairs as well as two shops selling local New Zealand goods. There are not a ton of options between these two places so definitely take the time to stop at Coffee Bomb you will not be disappointed.

Their Hot Sandwiches (bombs) are amazing!! As a local my wife and I frequently stop here for one of their superb hot sandwishes (or bombs as they call them) and I notice many other locals do too.
Coffee is great, easy parking and clean restrooms nearby.
