We stayed at Milk Wood for 4 nights in March with our dog. The cabin is lovely, large, clean and very well equipped.
This was our second stay and we hope to stay again next year.
Only minor downsides are that not enough towels are provided - only one each, which when you are showering more than once a day for hot tub is not enough, also the shower isn't very powerful and there are instructions, rules and warnings on everything, which are sometimes a little excessive.
The location is lovely and loads of good walks and things to do in the area, although a car is essential as there is no shop or pub nearby. Would recommend the precipice walk (rough path, but views amazing) and the torrent walk which is walking distance from the cabin. Barmouth beach is lovely and the Mawdach estuary trail is a lovely scenic walk with a good flat path.

We ended up in the cabin next door as the hot tub was out of order but it was truly amazing. The log burner was just brilliant and the main reason we went there and would love to go back! There was also tea, coffee, sugar, cake and milk for us which was lovely. Perfect for our 1 year wedding anniversary and our newborn slept like a log all weekend...must have been the fresh air ;)
FANSTASTIc . Cabin outstanding and scenery beautiful. Really chilled, even did the torrent walk. Came and relaxed on the hot tub after
Loved it, amazing, clean, modern yet cosy, sauna, hot-tub (very clean), beautiful countryside, friendly welcome......just go.
