We're big on hotel hopping, so we booked our last three days in Tenerife at RedLevel, presumably saving the best for last - and we were not wrong. What a way to close out a holiday.
The service is impeccable and the amenities amazing, but for us the real win here was the ability to strike a perfect balance between busy and relaxing. On our first day we spent a few hours lounging poolside, lounging in the hammock, and relaxing in the spa. Very vegetative state for a solid 12 hours. Not once did the resort feel loud or rowdy, but also never dipped into an "eerily quiet" place either, and it became comfortably busy at just the right times. There was a nice buzz when the musicians came out to play for happy hour, and the bar situated right next to the busy Italian restaurant made for a lively spot in the evenings. This is certainly no party spot or crazy spring break atmosphere, but it felt busy and energetic at all the right moments.
There's really nothing to say that hasn't already been said about the service, grounds, food, location, rooms, etc etc. It's a phenomenal resort and we'd return 100 times over.More
