Went for lunch on a Wednesday. A cruise ship was in but it was very quiet. The staff were friendly and attentive.

We ordered wedges and snapper in small buns.

In other places, we have only got one bun when ordering, so we were surprized to get three.

Easy place to dine.

We chose this place for a business meeting as the person we were having the meeting with insisted that the place we choose needs to serve potatoes in different ways as he's the CEO of Potatoes NZ plus Latitude 37 has good reviews. The service and food was great but poor acoustics so we couldn't hear each other. Definitely not a place to go to for a business meeting. Also not a place to go to if you're garlic intolerant as a lot of their dishes is seasoned with garlic.

We chose this place for two reasons. It was a change from the cruise ship food, and it had wifi. It also turned out to have good food! Both of our meals were excellent and the prices were reasonable. The service was also good.

We were here for lunch on a weekend. They were quite busy. Our meals took quite a while but were lovely, I had the fish sliders, yum.
I recommend.

Monteith's ales are famous in NZ and we like their Black with a good serving of fish and chips. Latitude 37 has great lunch time footpath tables where the passing parade of holiday makers offer fascinating perspectives and visual delights.
We matched our pints of Black with snapper and fries. Welll priced and a filler f ever their was one. Impressive is the hand-made tartare sauce rich in gherkin and capers.
