Clean, quiet, reasonably priced and close to all amenities. Staff were friendly, welcoming and made a big effort to make our stay enjoyable. Emailed in advance with list of Mt Maunganui attractions which was useful and helped book us on tours and suggest things to do. Would have no hesitation in recommending this as place to stay.

as you can see by the headline, this review is three months late but none less deserved. my boyfriend and I stayed here during the month of November as we started our journey here in new Zealand. we were newbies at backpacking and not very good at it, might I add. we found our way up to Tauranga to get a job and saw cosy corner. we had explained to the owners of our situation and they became our home away from home. whether it be putting our room on hold for us for an extra night, or it be marking down places on a map on where to purchase new work shoes, they were never short of lending a helping hand. our room was pristine clean, along with the bathrooms and kitchen. it was also an added bonus with the swimming pool and sky tv! again though, the experience was that much more perfect because of the staff. without them we would've been even more lost. all we do now is talk about how much of a saving grace this cute little holiday park was. so yes, highly recommended!!

My 8 year old picked this place off Trip Advisor because she liked the name. Once we got there we found there was a lot more to like too. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything was spotless and well maintained. We were right next to the toilet block which was a little too noisy for me but didn't bother my husband or children who slept in till 8!! Not much of a park on site but the pool is great and there is a park on the neighbouring reserve and beach just across the road so plenty to do. Would definitely recommend it!

Stayed one night, we got a kitchen unit with a double bed and one set of bunk beds, unit spotless clean, big BBQ area, and a area where you can sit and watch Sky TV (sport), the unit only had Freeview TV, we used the pool, a little cold even though it was solar heated, the hot tub was just at the right temperature.
Access to the beach is simple just out the front gate, look for the blue signage pole (423) walk between the 2 properties straight onto the beach.
Omanu shops are only 300 metres (turn right out of property), there is the usual grocery store, a liquor store, fast food shop as well.
The property is quite a distance to the 'Mount', better to take the car or bus, once there there is a typical New Zealand strip mall with all the local and tourist focussed shops and eateries, everything from Burger King to high end restaurants.
Had a great time, and will return, wonderful time

Really nice friendly place to stay. Great location - you can walk across the road to the beach. Not too far from the center of town. Good kitchen with some equipment. Huge dining area. Only downfall was that you had to pay extra for the BBQ's. Showers and toliets were always clean, and there was always hot water. It is far nicer than the holiday park in the center of town which feels really unsafe owing to the fact that anyone can just wander in. We felt very secure here!
