There were 15 of us. Instead of being happy to have customers, they seemed angry that we came. We had to sit at two separate tables and the waiter didn't like telling us about the pizzas. Maybe he had had a bad day but.... The children in our group were mannerly and quiet so they couldn't be blamed for his obvious irritation. The pizza was okay but the atmosphere was cold and hostile.
I have NO idea why!

We ended up here upon recommendation of nearby wine producer Dellafiori (do try his Priapo!) and thouroughly enjoyed both the food and wine (an excellent Giorgi riesling, Il Bandito). Standing out among some nice dishes, was one of the best 'fritto misto' I ever tasted ( and I do try them out whenever I find them on the menu). When in the area, we will definitely return to this osteria!

We were staying in a local village and looking for a good place to eat. We found it!! Went on a Sunday evening and the place was buzzing with people. But we were found a table to accommodate all 6 of us. The owner spoke good English and was warm and friendly with just the right amount of banter without being intrusive. The decor, table layout and seating were all classical. The brickwork on the ceiling is lovely. All the food was cooked perfectly, our pizzas were the best we have had in Italy on 3 visits now. Very very reasonable prices which always helps!! Really could not fault it from our experience.

We tried this restaurant few days ago in the company of friends. We tried the "Tagliata di manzo con carciofi" and the "Tagliata di tonno" both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Pleasant interior decor and atmosphere with nice portico with space for tables during the summer season. The pizza wood oven is visible from one of the restaurant sections. Good selection of local wines.
