Owner description: Feudo Ramaddini lies at the very herat of the vineyards between Not, the home of renowned wines, such as Moscato and Nero d'Avola, and the countryside around Pachino, a land of centuries-old vineyards and knowledge acquired over the ages within the walls of of ancient wine-presses. In the Feudo Ramaddini vinyards, wich slope gently down from the high land around Noto to the sea at Marzamemi, the fertile somewhat calcareous soil, the mild climate and, above all, the unbeatable quality of the sunlight are of the utmost importance. The Feudo Ramaddini winery follows the great wine-making tradition in the south-east of Sicily. An example of architectural r-use. it is located in an old wine warehouse in contrada Lettiera, just outside Marzamemi. A picturesque place from wher the wine is still transported to the small port of Marzamemi.

A small, but very nice producer with a charming place. Good wine, and very enjoyable sitting outside tasting their products. Strongly recommended

We didn't pre arrange a tour but we were welcomed by the staff who showed us around. Everyone was very friendly.

The old pipe that used to carry wine to port was interesting and there is some antiquated equipment around to see how wine used to be made.

We bought 2 bottles and moved on to the next winery!

I had the chance to visit Feudo Ramaddini after the Calici delle Stelle event, where I tasted some wines from different wineries in the region. There are plenty of wineries in Sicily and quality varies greatly, making it interesting to meet a producer who put so much effort into producing great wines that are up to international standards. Highly recommended for wine lovers.
