The Blue Pigeons was chosen by my daughter as the venue for her wedding. She couldn't have made a better choice. The hospitality and enthusiasm of the owners and all of the staff was inspiring. The wedding guests were united in their praise for the quality and portion sizes of all of the food. Many, myself included, stated that it was the best wedding food that they had eaten. The guest rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The garden gave a perfect setting for the ceremony. This venue is the perfect package and should be on every couples list of wedding venue.

We sat in the bar area which wAs no different from. Ring I. The restaurant. The food wS amazing and reasonable prices. The staff were discreet but very Argentine. The atmosphere was lovely...more an eating place than drinking. You can stay here too but we were friends having a meal out that live locally. Would highly recommend

We had our wedding here on 25th August 2018. Infact we had the entire venue from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. Every part of the weekend was faultless from the amazing food, friendly/helpful staff and attention to detail. Emma organises your wedding down to every last little detail and leaves you feeling stress free. We could not have asked for a better wedding!

We recently came across the blue pigeons and initially decided we’d stop for s drink. As we went in there was an air of relaxed professionalism that we were greeted with.
We sat outside on the patio for our drinks, before too long we were so enjoying it we decided to stay for lunch which was superb.
I had the mussels to start and my husband had the smoked salmon and prawns, large portions and served with bread.
The roast was very tasty and probably the best we have had out for a very long time. I opted for the lamb cutlets ( small extra charge) as a roast and my husband had the beef. All served with vegetables and the best roast potatoes!
We then had a creme brûlée which was perfect, hot on top with a cold base...
All washed down with a well chilled Sauvignon blanc. A very good lunch within a beautiful building and gardens with excellent attentive staff. Our first visit but definitely not our last.
