This was recommended to us by a number of people. We rocked up gave a donation and then proceeded to get a personalised tour (watch out for the possum) which was equal parts funny and educational. One of the miners then proceeded to entertain the kids for a long time with tricks and riddles. We also got to hold a REAL gold nugget. Lots of fun!

True old timer miners with a wealth of experience in the local area. They look the part and offered an authentic experience for the kids. They really enjoyed asking a million questions on how to find gold and what all of the display items were and what they were used for.

I always make a point of taking my kids to see these guys, they have a wealth of old knowledge and if you're lucky they'll bring out some of their nuggets and collection of rocks.
