A special shoutout to Chef Alexsander Cheng, who always greeted us at the buffet with a smile and genuine care. His Chinese cuisine was the best I’ve ever had!
I’d also like to thank Laura from the front office for her warm welcome, as well as Mo, who always greeted us with her lovely smile.
Chef Pramod at the Grill checked in with us regarding our food experience, and we were very pleased with the overall quality. However, I believe Just Wok could benefit from some improvements. This is not a complaint, but I hope to see better offerings in the future. The dim sum could be fresher; the meat and seafood didn’t meet our expectations, and the prawns lacked the chewy texture we anticipated. In comparison, we have had much better dim sum in India and Dubai. Additionally, the main course was a bit salty.
On a positive note, we absolutely loved the Courtyard buffet, especially the Indian Ocean Night, where Chef Vijay shared an engaging story about the food, enriching our dining experience.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at OBLU Select Sangeli, and we want to recognize all the staff who made our vacation unforgettable.
