We did not take our holiday as a honeymoon holiday, but on our 2nd day, while chatting with one of the staff, we said that we came for honeymoon. When we came to our room in the evening, we encountered such a surprise. Thank you very much to Bappi :)

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to our wonderful stay. Your hospitality truly made our vacation memorable.
A special shoutout to Chef Alexsander Cheng, who always greeted us at the buffet with a smile and genuine care. His Chinese cuisine was the best I’ve ever had!
I’d also like to thank Laura from the front office for her warm welcome, as well as Mo, who always greeted us with her lovely smile.
Chef Pramod at the Grill checked in with us regarding our food experience, and we were very pleased with the overall quality. However, I believe Just Wok could benefit from some improvements. This is not a complaint, but I hope to see better offerings in the future. The dim sum could be fresher; the meat and seafood didn’t meet our expectations, and the prawns lacked the chewy texture we anticipated. In comparison, we have had much better dim sum in India and Dubai. Additionally, the main course was a bit salty.
On a positive note, we absolutely loved the Courtyard buffet, especially the Indian Ocean Night, where Chef Vijay shared an engaging story about the food, enriching our dining experience.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at OBLU Select Sangeli, and we want to recognize all the staff who made our vacation unforgettable.

The housekeeping team made us amazing coconut tree leaf drawings for us each day on the bed, and we always looked forward to coming back to our villa. Every staff member was very kind and warmly welcomed us to the island. The food was good, and sometimes provided some cuisine as per our request.

We choose the Oblu Select Sangeli when booking with our travel agent Angel Fish who we highly recommend, and we are so grateful for them introducing this island to us!
Travelling as a group of 10 as myself and my fiancé had chosen the island for our Wedding Ceremony. Firstly we can not thank the staff enough for making our dream come to reality. The attention to detail from start to finish and their ability to bring our vision to life, is something we will be forever grateful for. They truly helped make the day prefect.
The remaining time of the holiday didn't disappoint either.
Island - the presentation of the island is fantastic, extremely well kept and looked after with really lovely decor. Again a lot of attention to detail which is appreciated.
All Inclusive - what a fantastic package. The spa treatments included are an amazing touch (and also the snorkelling trip + fishing) and overall the All Inclusive package is fantastic value and a level more than I've ever received before.
Food - the food quality is fantastic, the food is delicious, fresh, lots of variety and the kitchen team work hard to make sure everything is kept on top of with regards to the above. The additional two restaurants are also delicious, including one of the best steaks I've ever had at the just grill. Credit to the food and beverage manager who works extremely hard alongside his team and you can tell how much they care about their service and delivery.
Bar - the bar staff are fantastic, and again the drink quality is brilliant. We really enjoyed the cocktail and the mocktails of the day at both the songs bar and the rock bar. The Rock bar at sunset with the Sax player was also just such a great setting.
Swimming - pools are really well maintained and the slide into the sea is such good fun. Both the adults and the children in the group enjoyed this.
Room - we opted for a 2 bedroom vila with a pool and it was gorgeous! so much space and one of the comfiest beds I've ever had the pleasure to sleep in.
Gym is brilliant, good quality equipment, clean, great air con and wow what a view!
Additionally we paid for our row ceremony which I can't recommend enough, a private sunset cruise which was so special and the dolphin cruise which we booked with the dive centre, again which was just an amazing evening and great value for money.
Kids club had a great selection of activities and my daughter loved attending. With the added bonus of the resident Marine Biologists who went above and beyond teaching my daughter about their projects and allowing her to be part of them which made her holiday. We all really enjoyed learning about the wildlife during our stay also.
I'll finish on the snorkelling, this was just amazing. It's great that the snorkelling equipment is included and the house reef is brilliant, rays, sharks and an unbelievable amount of fish it never got boring! We'll just have to return to see the turtles.
We are currently having the worst holiday blues after leaving the Island and can't wait to return. Thank you Oblu for making such an important holiday for us, so wonderful.
