I couldn't recommend Oblu select enough, the staff are amazing so friendly and kind they really made our trip. the room was amazing. adults only island we loved.
but Ajay (one of the mangers) was soo lovely and went above and beyond for us we even extend our trip he sorted everything out for us. I had a birthday while I was there and they even sent cake to my room really sweet I can not wait to come back

Even before we got married, me and my husband had a deal when we started seeing each other. The happy water babies that we both are, we had mutually decided that Maldives will be our first planned getaway. Since then life was a rollercoaster ride, searching for places in the Maldives and planning our trip used to keep us happy and motivated. And after all the wait, we thank our stars now that we decided on Oblu Select at Sangeli.
Right from the moment we stepped in, the small gestures have been winning us over and over.
We were greeted warmly as we arrived by the staff and Mr. Ajay came to speak to us. Little did we know that we had found a great friend in Ajay. We eventually spent evenings talking to him and chilling with him.
We stayed at the Water Villa with pool and Beach Villa with pool for 3 nights each. Lounged for hours at Sangs where we met Ms. Lovely who was always so cheerful. Rock was our favourite sunset place where Roshan never failed to say a cheerful hello and serve the best of cocktails. One Banyan was another beautiful daily lounge place for us. Where we had some of our best meals during the stay and had the tastiest cocktails made by Suresh. Morgan from the Dive Centre was a delight to speak to, she cleared all our doubts patiently and always suggested the best for us.
Every moment at OBLU, be it the DJ night, Fishing, Snorkeling in the cleanest of waters, the Spa..it will all be etched in our hearts forever.
Thank you all for making it beyond delightful for us. Can't wait to be back. :)

We just came back, this is a little piece of paradise ... We are delighted with every detail, I just can't describe the kindness of the staff, I felt like a Real Madrid football player, the staff pays such attention to you. The highlights of the trip were the astonishing easy access to the reef which was right below and around us at all times. We could rool out of our beds right into the amazing waters and reef --- ever ready for snorkleing / swimming / seeing the millions of fish - just fantastic. Pitch dark nights (when not full moon) allowed us to see the stars in all their glory. Their "Just Grill" restaurant was an amazing culinary adventure & experience --- superb. The best reefs are on the East side, but we enjoyed snorkeling from our Villa all the way to the Courtyard for meals as regularly as we could. The Private swimming pool for Adults was idyllic and perfect for great Mockltails drinks. Range of Vegeterian options was great too although they could improve on Veg Protein choices. Access to elecric Buggies to transport us from our villa to various corners of the resort during "Hot sunny" times was a great help. Sunset point was a beautiful change of scene....as were the various musical sessions thru our stay. But to top it all -- was their amazing staff who we alwasy felt wanted to do their very best to help make our stay unforgettable. Named individuals who made a huge positive impact to our 11 day stay were:= Divya, Rana, Oscar, Bhatt, Lyndon, Menuka, Rachel, Tatang, Aman, Vishnu, Jeevan, Dipak, Suresh, Chan, Ashraf, Aref, MArina, Firu, Nimmal, Nishan, Sally, Cat, and the snorkeling team.

The resort is really stunning with a lot of exotic trees, fancy villas and great food.
The Fitnes area is located in one of the water villas. We have stayed in the family beach villa with pool. I would advise to select this villa if you are more than 2 persons.
