“Fantastic!!”
Reviewed 6 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Stayed here for a week at the end of September and loved it! The cottage itself is so lovely, it was spotlessly clean upon arrival and had everything you would need, a real home from home. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were nice and hot and powerful. The Cottage is beautifully decorated with lots of unique and artist furnishings. I really cannot fault Swan Cottage at all. I will definitely return, it was so quite and peaceful, a place where you can really switch off from reality!
The Cottage is close to several pubs, an amazing fish restaurant (Bure River Cottage) and several village shops. There is plenty of helpful information in a folder in the Cottage which we found very useful. Thank you to the owners for such a wonderful stay :) x

“Good Location”
Reviewed 22 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

The cottage was in convenient position for local shops, pubs and boats. It was well equipped and clean. We were not told the key code had changed, and when we arrived, had to phone the owner for the new one. The front door was sticky to lock and unlock and consequently caused a picture to come loose and fall. With the constant use of a large party including children this was something that needed attention. One of the dustbins was full to overflowing when we arrived and, although we put it out on the correct day it was not emptied.

“Perfect rental cotage”
Reviewed 18 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Wonderfully located on the Norfolk Broads, swan cottage is a lovely rental home. Perfectly equipped with everything you could need for a large family stay. We stayed with our children and grandchildren. Good pubs nearby if you don't want to cook and a lovely butchers and deli. Would visit again.

“lovely house”
Reviewed 29 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Really good location and lovely house.

Things didn't go to plan at first and we found them a bit frustrating, particularly after a long drive. We had problems getting into the property as there was a 'knack' of opening the key lock which we weren't aware of. (the buttons should stay in and some didn't without holding them) and the spare key didn't work either. But the owner tried to resolve this as soon as she could.

And there were just a few other things missing that we'd expected: dvd player, dryer and welcome pack.

The car parking was also very tight. We couldn't fit our two cars into the space and there is limited parking on the street - so could be a problem at peak season.

But saying all this, the property itself was very clean and tidy. Well proportioned and a well equipped kitchen. We would stay again.
