I willingly gave this location two chances before understanding it wasn't just a "bad day" - because the menu options are healthy and flavors quite good. I understand the mall setting, large turnover and frenetic atmosphere of hundreds of hungry shoppers, it leads to chaos - but! There is NO excuse for staff to be EATING while they work. Chewing with your mouth full as you ring through my order? I also saw what seemed to be the manager or shift leader (no uniform) in the back (where they prepare the made-to-order sandwiches) nibbling on something through the delivery window. I totally lost my appetite. The food itself is 'good' but the way in which it is prepared by the staff really turned me off. Salad bar items are messy - corn bits in the tuna dish, mozzarella water that falls into the tomato bin. Come on, attention to detail. Jumping from the cash register to the coffee station to the salad bar without a change of gloves/hands being washed? No excuse. During our first visit it took 22 minutes to receive 2 club sandwiches and when I inquired, I was given a "why are you asking me?" glare. Ok, I get it, it's a mall job and it's stressful but please fix the hygiene issues. Your staff represents the food and your brand. Messy fly away ponytails make me think I may find one in my sandwich. Review your hygiene standards, they should always comes first.
