We (Canterbury Underwater Club) booked a 2 night 3 day charter to the Poor Knights with Yukon. The booking process was simple and relaxed, Jo was brilliant in helping with all other aspects of the trip too. The boat was awesome. We had some lumpy seas on the way out and Pacific Hideaway just rode it like a cowboy!!
We did 10 dives, and every single one was amazing!! I couldn't pick a favourite or a least favourite, they were all different and great. Noel and Bruce were great, dive sites were clearly explained and sketched out and they were always there to offer assistance when needed. Safety was paramount too!
Now the food needs a mention.......You WILL NOT GO HUNGRY!! It was literally Dive, Eat, Sleep, Dive, Eat, Sleep........... The food was great and plentiful and always well prepared. Jumping out of the water each morning and smelling bacon in the air was just magical!
We were also due a 4th day on the Waikato with Yukon but the weather came up bad. Jo sorted out a trip to the Canterbury with another operator and transfers for us straight away.
I can not recommend Yukon Dive any higher, whether it's a day trip or a live aboard, these guys are the real deal!! Can't wait to come back!! Thank you very much!!!!!

We did 2 dives with Yukon dive. One on Marie's Wall and the other at The Lost World. Both nice dives but The lost World was truly a great dive. The crew were professional and friendly. It was well run and they were safety conscious. I would recommend this operator. There was some historical facts and a steam into the worlds largest sea cave during the surface interval. The Poor Knights lived up to its reputation

We took the 5 year old and the father in law for a day snorkelling and diving on Pacificc Hideaway. The big boat is perfect for the whole family, and we had an amazing time with Noel, Jo and the fantastic crew. Fantastic!

We had a little trouble getting a hold of these folks at first, but the competitor in the area also didn't respond to our e-mails. In the end we got everything sorted out and Jo was so pleasant to work with. She worked with my husband to be sure that he could go diving and I could go snorkeling on the same boat trip. My husband really enjoyed his dive, they took us to one site that was secluded and no other divers or snorkelers in the area! The second site had a little more traffic, but I actually enjoyed having some more people in the water as I was the only snorkeler on the trip that day. We went out on the catamaran and it was so nice to have some inside areas to sit out of the sun and there was plenty of room to move around the boat with all of the instructors and other divers. We would highly recommend using Yukon Dive if you want to dive Poor Knights or snorkel!

First time for my wife and I to dive out at the Poor Knights. Skipper Glenn (apologies if spelled wrong) is professional yet relaxed and always up for a joke. The dive sites he took us to were suitable for a variety of dive levels, although our group of six chose to take it easy and have long, shallow (5-25m) dives. Their commons sense approach that accounts for more advanced levels is pleasant. And for those with less experience or the urge to not miss those hidden little critters, the dive guides are happy to show you around. Despite the windy conditions we managed to get a nice day with relaxed diving (and even a Sunfish!) out of this. And the smaller boat meant that we had a nice small group (around 16 people filled the boat entirely) in the water - good for someone who's not a fan of mass tourism. We recommend Yukon and would go out with them again in the future.
