Went to the Bridge for a family meal out with my wife and 2 kids as a friend had recommended it after their own experience there.
The moment we got there we were greeted very quickly and warmly by one of the staff making us feel very welcomed! There was a few tables in and the atmosphere was very nice in the beautiful restaurant we were sat in.
The food was excellent, well presented and cooked beautifully. I had a 10oz rump with fries and green beans which was cooked to perfection. My wife went for the chicken, chorizo and prawn risotto which had a lovely balance of flavour of the lemon and chilli in it. Even the kids menu had good choices and was presented wonderfully for kids meals!
All in all an absolutely amazing night for the whole family and would recommend to anyone to give a go!
Lovely Food, lovely service, lovely atmosphere in a lovely restaurant.

We were there on Easter Saturday evening we hadn't booked but we were given a table in the bar area where it was extremely cold. The two waitresses on duty were clearly overworked and struggling to cope. Our nibbling platter and starter took so long to arrive we were on our 2nd bottle of wine! When our main course eventually arrived we had been there for an hour and half having to put on scarves to keep warm!! At the end of the meal when paying we asked where the owner was and were told he is never there so who us in charge we asked well I suppose I am (an eighteen year old girl!!) Apparently the Manageress wasn't on duty!! Appalling!! The food when we eventually got it was very good but not worth returning for. Unfortunately there aren't many places to eat in Newlyn it's a shame they can't get it right

I haven’t been here in a while and it has obviously changed hands. Friendly welcome and good service. The pizzas are great and I would love to try some of the other dishes which looked good on other tables but always get persuaded back to great pizza,

We had a family dinner here as we found most other restaurants were closed on a Monday. Staff was kind and really helpful, and the restaurant looks okay (although you can only see the bar from the road - odd...)
The restaurant was only heated with electric heaters and there was none where we sat, so we ate with our coats on...
The food was good, but expensive for what it was. £60 for a child's main, 2 pizza's a pasta and 2 fizzy drinks was more than we expected to pay for a simple meal.

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the food and the service. Apologies for the cold restaurant. We have had some issues with our heaters. This has since been fixed so if you get the chance to join us again I'm sure you will be much more comfortable.

(Now called The Bridge) We popped in on a Saturday evening after a film as we didn't want to cook. We had no reservation but finding a table was no issue. The service was friendly and efficient. We had a lovely chat with the French waitress after the meal. She is a credit to the establishment. The food was of good choice and good quality. We will return.
