Not really my type of beach but be very safe for children when the tide is in. I rated it higher due to the clifftop walk taken from llanes that offers excellent views. Easy to follow path along the coast, NOT the official coastal path.

From the other reviews we were expecting a fabulous beach but unfortunately our imagination exceeded reality. The tide was out when we arrived and the sandy beach is exposed as a long fairly narrow inlet. The water was a long way out which was perfect for young children to play on and the water seemed shallow. We didn't go down into the beach but walked above onto the cliffs and enjoyed the view and read our books so the visit was still enjoyable.

Lovely Beach with beautiful surroundings, great to have a stunning beach and mountains together. Great to swim, relax and there was even room to play frisbee. Refreshment stall closr by with reasonably priced beer and ice cream. A perfect spot!

On this beach you can't see the sea but you watch the mountains instead. As a kind of delta it hasn't such a big waves which makes it great for children. For the more adventurous ones there are possibilities for surfing and kayaking.

Great beach with warm water (considering the usual temperature of the sea in this area). It has showers and drink/eat options including a lounge area with a dj...and yet it was clean, calm and felt respectful of nature/environment. Superb beach. .
