This is the best hotel you will find in the area. Its small but very clean, cozy and comfortable. The owners take care of their guessts that those feel well. I liked the breakfasts, that were served with eco products.

You can taste the best self-made wines there!

Everything is perfectly arranged: Nice staff, lovely rooms, good wine and a romantic laid back village. We enjoyed our stay very much! Be sure to make a reservation in advance to get a room. The owner consults you about which room is perfect for you.

Who would expect to find a boutique-y kind of an eco hotel in the middle of nowhere between Wuerzburg and Buremberg? Well, there you go: Rothweinhotel is yours to discover. The village of Wiesenbronn is not the prettiest of its kind in the area. Wienmakers Roth on the other hand are: their wine, red wine in particular, is quite something.

The hotel, adjacent to the vineyard, is a modern building: think large, airy rooms with lots of light wood, decent sized bathrooms (some with bath tubs), very comfortable beds, uber clean. Wifi comes free, though you have to ask for access codes every (other) day.

The wine as well as most item son the breakfast buffet are eco: local cheese and cold meets; jams; honey (which Mrs Buettner kindly offers to get for you to take home). The only no-so-nice feature are the bread rolls, which are re-heated in the oven, which seems a bit odd given that Germany has outstanding bakeries on every corner. Eggs are made to order and the self-service fab coffee machine turns you into the barista you always wanted to be. You can help yourself to coffee to your heart's discontent. In the summer you can eat outside on the patio.

In the breakfast room is also a wine fridge, where guests can help themselves to the exceedingly good value for money wines made by Roth's on an honesty-typse basis.

Is there anything that could be improved? There always is, though it feels a bit mean as there is so very much so very right about Rothwein hotel. A communal, comfy-cosy area where to sit and read (if not on your bed) would put the place into the 'don't-want-to-leave-any-time-soon' league.

We stayed here in November on our way back from lower Bavaria .We chose it as a winery that also had accomodation and it did not dissapoint. The hosts were friendly as was the service , the room was large, with well appointed facilities and an excellent bathroom , with a large flalt screen TV and Wifi. We stayed just one night and a wine tasting was organised for us , BUT apart from being an excellent B & B hotel with a good restaurant nearby it is the ideal location near the motorway system from all points of the compass that makes this an attractive and very good value proposition at 75 Euro per night for two including a lovely breakfast . With a wine shop to stock up on Franken wine as you leave what more could you want .
