I organised a group of 25 people to visit to Forges-les-Eaux for a weekend's cycling from East Sussex and we had a great time. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and just a short distance from the Avenue Vert. Yes, the hotel staff don't speak much English but the Hotel is located in France and I cant understand why everyone believes everyone should speak English if you are abroad.

The rooms were spacious and well fitted. The Continental breakfast was ideal for us and the staff very helpful. There is a secure are to leave the bikes and a good size car park.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay that is reasonably priced, it is well worth considering.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear are quieter; there is lift access

Overnight stay on road trip to Southern Spain.

Quaint hotel with good parking, access and lift. Unfortunately very little English spoken by staff.

Large, comfortable room with pleasant views to rear from French windows. Coffee and soft drinks available in lounge area downstairs. No air-con in room or extractor in bathroom - the latter made showering on a warm day quite uncomfortable.

I believe this is more of an overflow hotel - the main one being over the road at the edge of the massive sports and leisure complex, up a short incline. That one also houses the restaurant and casino which both have a dress code in place so, as we were dressed for the road, we would not have been allowed in.

Fortunately, almost next door to our hotel was a small cafe tabac which did absolutely lovely food, albeit with a language barrier. However, the ladies running it were very helpful and sympathetic to our poor, school-gained French.

Might stay here again should circumstances arise, but would bring decent shoes and trousers to wear instead of jeans and trainers!

Room Tip: Back of the hotel - rooms probably quieter but view definitely good.

Nice hotel with basic and clean rooms. Stand up showers. Queen sized beds. Wifi included. Rooms also have phones, 36" tv, and a small desk.

Bikes can be securely stowed in basement.

Nice breakfast. A short walk from many other restaurants for lunch or dinner.

They have an elevator to carry luggage to upper floors. Or use the broad stairs.

The hotel is fine for an overnight stay. The reception staff are welcoming and helpful and the room was clean. The room was hot and I didn't like to leave the window open as I was on the ground floor. Unfortunately, the car park is not secure a cheap and simple CCTV would easily remidy this.
The breakfast buffet at Eu10 was one to miss, poor quality produce, also the meal at the Casino was not good for the price and the coffee was just warm. Hotel fine, food poor.

Spent a night here during a week's bike ride from Paris to London. It's a terrific old world property which features large well-appointed rooms and a solid breakfast. It's a 15 minute walk to town, yet it's across the street from the casino. Le Continental is also a stone's throw from the Avenue Verte bike route. Very convenient. The property was well-run and all who assisted us were ready to serve.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room and get two views.
