I would say the main forte of the hotel is the food - buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners were truly delicious. Vast selections of great dishes - escargot, mussels and cheeses particularly impressive. Other than that, everything is rather disappointing. The rooms are big, but not well equipped - no mini bar, no slippers, no bathrobes. Extremely slow wi-fi. Apart from CNN and CNBC news channels only French TV is available. The swimming pool is good in terms of size, but the water contains too much chlorine and is too warm. Hamam smells like very strong French cheese. The gym is just a formality - very small and poorly equipped: just an outdated training machine, which looks like a gynecologist’s chair, a couple of exercise bikes and two treadmills. Not even weights are available. The gym opens at 9am, which is very late. You have to pay for the lockers at the gym! The locker room is common for men and women. The bar closes too early, the staff at the bar looks very depressed and their attitude shows they just hate this job. Some parts of the building need maintenance. This place located in the middle of nowhere really is not worth going to for sure. The main contingent of the hotel consists of old retired people and families with small kids, all French.

What a shame! ... That you criticize the hotel in general is not a problem...
Even if some of your assertions are just inaccurate!
But at the point to speak about... "an old retired people and families with small kids, all french"!!!...
holds of the racism ...
Go your way Gentleman!

This hotel is under the 3 star category but the amenities are well worth that of a 4 star hotel. An indoor pool and an indoor tennis court are nice features in a part of the country where it rains often.
If you go with children, their "mini club" staff is so nice that your child might not want to hang out with you... which is very nice of you want a little break from your little monsters. :)
The food is great.
And, if you like to gamble, the casino is right across the street.

Very nice hotel which we used for a one night stay whilst travelling from Calais to lower Normandy. Spa facilities looked excellent. Couldn't fault the evening buffet style meal with range of choice between meat and fish. Massive portions of steak cooked to your liking. A very nice breakfast with lots of choice. Perhaps need more than one night to enjoy all the facilities available, Would recommend this hotel. Late night Casino next-door if you like a gamble.

Room Tip: Lower floor -3 with patio for outdoor space.

What more can I say. Rooms and facilities are lovely and very comfortable. Reception very friendly and welcoming.

Buffet meal for dinner was average to below average. Wait staff not helpful. Wine list, terrible.

Massage reported by one in our party to be terrific.
