Five of us went to this Cenote after looking at a number of reviews. It is about a mile or so off the main road on a very pot holed and partially washed out gravel road. We came to a gate, paid 100 pesos each and then drove a few hundred yards more to a parking area about 100 ft aaway from the Cenote. This is a small Cenote with no cave. There are three sets of stairs going down to the water. There were many locals and there were two life guards. Life vests could be rented for 50 pesos each. Hot dogs and hamburgers could also be purchased as well at a reasonable price. Lots of fish to be seen and there were about a dozen scuba divers there at the time we arrived. Always felt safe and the local teenagers were quite entertaining diving into the Cenote.

After being at a crazy-filled beach in Akumal (wonderful to see the turtles though) we drove down an ever quieting jungle road to this enchanted spot. It's kept clean and secure (by a locked gate). The colors are breathtaking and serene-making at the same time. Our good swimmer and our not-so-good swimmer both enjoyed it tremendously. Terrific time and the best of memories. Enjoy.

Beautiful and quiet, felt like we practically had the place to ourselves. Crystal clear waters with so many fish to see. Snorkels to hire, really reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit.

It's breathtakingly beautiful. Crystal clear water, which is full of many types of fish. Good cliff for diving. Snorkelling heaven. The colours from the rocks and the sun and the overhanging trees are asto. Go early and you might be as lucky as we were and have the place to ourselves for almost an hour. It's 100 pesos entry. The ticket office looks like it could fall down any minute, but don't be put off! The collectivo was 20 pesos from Akumal.

Whilst this initially appeared to be mainly a snorkelling/swimming site once we got underwater it was quite and with most of the dive through caves with some external light provided a good introduction to different types of cenote diving. Good for the experience but not the best in the area.
