A beautiful private property with a half kilometer approach road through 2000 year old olive trees. The buildings are whitewashed and beautiful old style villa-esque structures. There is a large swimming pool and two restaurants, one at the hotel with indoor and outdoor dining, and one right on the beach with shuttles to it every hour.
The rooms are wonderful, large, with exceptional beds. Service is prompt and polite. Walk amongst the olive trees and imagine Romans harvesting their fruits. There is no private beach, but there are several public ones near the beach restaurant. Extraordinary food. An excellent getaway, romantic. Unfortunately, none of the rooms have a view of the olive orchard. We found the best way to get there was to fly to Rome or Naples direct and drive across the boot of Italy to the east coast.More
