Great place to relax and enjoy good food, great service and simple peace!

Recommended as a place to unwind and to savour the local area and people.

It is wonderful to experience a great hotel that is obviously well run by its owners and staff. Yes it's simple and somewhat "rustic", but that's it's charm.

We will be back!!!

We stayed for two nights and loved this hotel. The property is beautiful. The rooms are private, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The breakfast spread was absolutely impressive. Dinner both evenings were good. Service was friendly. Highly recommend this hotel!

My wife took me here to dine last week; we were not staying at the Masseria but had heard great things about their kitchen from a travel writer we met at our Hotel in Torre Canne. We have eaten in many Michelin starred restaurants and this review is pitched by that standard.

Positives: the setting and décor are top notch. Very relaxed and perfect for great food.

The food: Well we did not get the amuse bouche offered to everyone else so I cannot review that. The best item I ate was the Euro 10 dessert of tiramisu; it was wonderful so top marks to the sous chef. Otherwise it was good but you are paying top $ and that is why I am very comfortable that we are not in 5* territory. At the end of the meal, despite the presence of large numbers of servers, we were left alone; no offer of coffee - it felt odd sitting watching others eat with service for us ended! Perhaps if you are staying it is better?

Room Tip: Any room is good, the one over the top of the spa are super

Adored this hotel. Understated unpretentious luxury- every day we discovered something more- a herb garden , an roof terrace, a hot tub, a games rom, the naming spa in the cave....our rooms were gorgeous ( try the chapel suite) festooned with fresh flowers...
great for kids- pizza making classes, great pool. Fab breakfasts, lovely dinners in the outdoor patio lit with hundreds of lights- and if you tire of rural authenticity the all white, chilled beach club is 5 minutes away- good restaurants in local port (saveltri) and very accommodating shuttle drivers.... thanks for a really great stay- we will be back!
