A good hotel for a night close to the airport. The room was big, the bed comfortable. The location is clsoe to the airport and the hotel has a €5 airport shuttle. The breakfast was not that great, but ok. The close area to the hotel is industrial. Therefor I would not recomment the hotel if one wants to visit Lisbon.

Our plan was to drive to the Algarve when we landed in Lisbon. But our flight was delayed by five hours and we were too tired to make the drive in the dark. Where to stay? Picked this hotel as it was nearby and had free parking. Took our chances that they would have a room (it was now after 5:00 p.m.). They did and at a reasonable price. We were very pleased with our stay. There do not seem to be any restaurants in the area so we were pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel does have a dinner menu. I think this is rather unusual for a Holiday Inn Express. And there was something for my vegetarian husband to eat. The complimentary breakfast also had more to offer than expected, including cold cuts and cheese and hard-boiled eggs. The beds were comfortable and welcome after being up for more than 24 hours. My only quibble would be that you can't turn off the night-light in the bathroom and it does make the bedroom brighter than we would like.

Stayed here twice now as we arrived late at night, enjoyed both visits, very convenient. Room was nice and clean with tea and coffee facilities. Able to hire a car nearby and straight out onto the motorway.

We needed a hotel at the airport as we had a 7am flight the following Morning. We needed to be at the airport for 5am. As this hotel had "airport" in the title we assumed it would be located at or in walking distance of the airport. It is not (probably my own fault for not checking on maps). Anyway, on foot it's about a half hour walk. We ended up getting a taxi. There is a shuttle bus that can take you too and from the airport however this did not run early enough. We had no other option to get a taxi. The hotel itself is situated on an industrial estate. There are no shops or restaurants around (unless you want to eat at the hotel). So if you want to do anything it involves getting another taxi.
As we had to leave early for our flight we would miss breakfast. The lady at reception was very friendly and said she could put together a breakfast in a bag for us. However, we did not even receive this.
The room itself was large and the bed was comfy. However the room was too hot and the aircon did not work.
Overall, the hotel is average and location is not so good.

We stayed there for four nights and we had several issues to complain about specially from the staff working there. The first morning they opened the room without knocking to cleat it at 9am in the morning, we asked them to come later, and we left the room at 11 expecting to be cleaned and when we returned at night it wasn't clean and on top of that they put the "do not disturb" holder on the door. After that, the last night, we arrived and wanted to park the car but the "holiday inn express van" was parked in the middle of the parking blocking 3 free spaces to park. The staff, instead of coming outside and move the van, were laughing at us from inside and not pretending to move. The last morning, as we were checking out, we put the "do not disturb sign" on the door, and anyway, the housekeeping was knocking the door to clean the room. Very disappointing stay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. There are other budget hotels in the area that for sure, they have more proffesional staff.

Dear Nuria,
Thank you for taking the time on writing us a feedback following your recent stay. I am however saddened that we failed to meet your expectations on some aspects of your stay. I do hope that we will have a chance to welcome you again and provide you with a more favorable impression of us.
Thank you.
