Both Chinese and Fish & Chips are fantastic and portions large. Wonton soup, sweet and sour prawn on rice, wontons, fish and chips, prawn chips all excellent. Large portions, fair pricing by NZ standards. I love this place

the wonton soup, crispy wontons and prawn chips all excellent but the soup is FANTASTIC. It's full of veggies, meat and wontons. Large portion, excellent flavors

Stop by fairly regularly for favourite chinese takeaways. Would have rated higher except for the "combination" rice varies quite a bit with amounts of different meats or amounts of anything. It is always very enjoyable to eat, would be even better if they had the "combination" part consistent quantities.

Wanted Chinese for dinner. Was fast service and enjoyed food. Had left over food so finished for breakfast.

A good test of a fish and chip shop is kumara chips...much harder to make palatable than potato chips, but some very humble places like the Ranui fish shop in Auckland manage it so why can't others. Highly priced terakihi fillets fell to bits, and really really greasy batter... Like going back in time...sullen staff, and disgusting slimy kumara chips. Revolting. If you want yum yum look for another. The little blue place down the road is better.
