Flew from Tauranga to Wellington with daughter for a specialist beautician appointment. As it was a 4.30am start I looked on TripAdvisor for the best coffee nearby. Went here, coffee was yuk, tasted like the beans were old or the portafilter wasn't on properly caused grinds to overflow into cup. Savoury scone didn't have a lot of stuff in it. Wouldn't recommend

Great Food. Service a bit up and down however the staff were friendly. We went around 2.30 pm and were told we've come at a great time as it was a very busy lunch time for them. We ordered Eggs Benedict, Vegetarian Breakfast and Prawns Linguini. The food was great and served timely. Prawns Linguini was the best - a must try. We ordered another dish, however, were told they had run out of prawns. Also tried the Biscotti which was yummy as well. They did start packing up soon after 3 pm as they close down at 4.

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning based on a recommendation by one of our group who'd eaten here during the week. While we had no real complaints about the food (other than one of us requesting their poached eggs to have hard yolks and twice they can out undercooked plus the small portion size of everyone's meal), sadly it was the poor service that lets this place down. From having to find our own table and get our own menus to the more than 40 minute wait for food, our experience was a succession of let downs. When we enquires as to how our food was coming along (after waiting over half an hour) we were told it was just being plated up. 15 minutes later the food arrived... I'd rather be told that there was still a wait than a mistruth. The decor, layout and cabinet food all looks amazing but whoever owns this place needs to invest a bit more in staff training and systems. Would return if we had to but not in a hurry...
