I been only one night,in shorts:
Nice hotel
Room very clean but had strange and not pleasant smell.
There is a need for renovation
Front desk works good
I might think that this hotel doesn’t has a real alternative in this area.

We spent two nights in this hotel, which used to be a convent a long time ago. We had reserved a superior room, but were somewhat disappointed in it. Although it was quite large it did not have much character and style. Most of all we did not like the curtains. They did not fully cover the windows and therefore did not fully darken the room. We complained about this at the reception desk but were told that there were no other available rooms.

Very clean nice hotel, staff lovely with good English. Little basic but that is region, good bathroom & shower and comfy bed.
Restuarant not open on Friday night? Bar only opened after 9.00pm. But we ate at hotel next door which is owned by same and fine.
All in all good and would come back if for business

Giving the small size of this town in the middle of nowhere of what is predominantly rural farm land, this hotel is quit impressive. It offers large rooms... ours was a corner room with two walls of large windows... large beds (two doubles together as is customary in Europe) sitting area and nice bathroom (with great water pressure and almost instant hot water). The windows tilt and swing open depending on the handle location (90 or 180) and it's repressing to left them cracked with the clean air at night! Summers may be a bit of a problem as there is no air-conditioning. As mentioned before, large atrium covers the former monastery court yard... great European breakfast! Free internet! Would definitely stay again when in the area.
