Tucked away in the heart of Havelock North, Lot 2 is a hidden gem. The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger over a cup of their exceptional coffee. Lot2 is a small space but offers some great vibes and is a great place to go with friends, family, partners, and even colleagues as you get to bond over sharing the food (the niche of the restaurant). The service is outstanding every time with a friendly and very skilled chef and gorgeous wait staff who are very attentive and cheerful.

But the food... how do I even begin? Every dish is crafted to perfection with a delicate mix of exotic spices and flavours. Everything has the perfect amount of spice befitting it, leaving your mouth slightly tingling with the flavour and kick. On top of that Lot2 offers so many GF options, as well as quite a few DF and V options as well so that no one is left out from enjoying the culinary masterpieces.

A word from the wise: if going here for dinner, do NOT miss out on ordering the kimchi fritters (their signature side dish). These were a crowd favourite. Describing them is hard as the flavours were so out of this world, but it would have to be by comparing it to a chicken nugget, but infinitely better, healthier, more flavour, more texture, and purely delightful.

If you are a fan of any type of fast food chicken, you definitely need to order the Korean Fried Chicken. Exactly the same description as above; healthier, FAR more delicious, packed with flavour and kick.

We also tried the Beef Brisket with Potato Croquettes. These were scrumptious, and less spicy, reminding us a lot of the components of shepherd's pie, put together in a new unique and creative way.

You can't go wrong going out for dinner here. I promise you won't regret it.

Lovely warm spot with nice peaceful vibe. Cliff and the team are wonderful hosts with exceptional food. Some GF, DF options and yummy flavours. Sweets to tempt you as well. A new regular destination of mine.

Amazing food. Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We both had chicken curry and it was so flavoursome. Service was fantastic as well. Have also had lunch here as well and just as delicious
