Food was great - prices reasonable - service excellent. The rooms were spacious and warm. We also used the spa massage which was first class. We had a cheese platter and champagne on arrival which was also excellent. Great night to spend for my wives birthday.

This is a luxury boutique hotel and the service reflects the price. The room was huge and extremely well appointed with all the amenities you’d expect.
The staff were super friendly and helpful whenever you dealt with them and the food was absolutely gorgeous - different menus each evening and good value for the quantity and quality of what you got.
The spa was surprisingly small with a single indoor hot tub and a small seasonal pool which was too cold to use in winter

The old Mangapapa hotel was a great place to stay really nice room and food. We were a little disappointed we had ordered the welcoming package which hadn’t been done for us or tho the young girls quickly sorted that out. The other downer was we ordered the twighlight package that includes massage, tea and sweets with champagne and an spa bath
With 2 course dinner and finish off with a hot chocolate by the fire which we never got. The massage was really nice but that’s when it stopped no champagne ready no spa ready to Jump into and the staff had no idea we had booked and pre paid for this twighlight evening package witch really put a down on the experience and the rest of the night
Dinner was really good we change from the two course to the 3 and was happy with the service. After dinner we went to the bar for some cocktails but were very disappointed in the bar staff not being able to make a simple cocktail. Other than that the setting of the buildings and rooms were nice but we would not stay there again.
The building is well maintained and kept very clean. The staff are Amazing! Friendly, helpful and professional. We had the 5-course dinner there two nights and the food was exceptional. Great breakfast included in room rate. Spa was good. Spa treatment was good but, a little overpriced. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely setting outside of Havelock North and Napier. Breakfasts are great with eggs Benedict and more. They have a spa and pool. They also serve dinner but were full while we were here. Would recommend while in Napier area.
