We arrived early on a Friday evening, around 5.30pm without a booking and were able to get a table. We were pleased we’d arrived early as there were reserved signs on almost every other table, a great sign that this is a popular spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, everything was super tasty, we didn’t even need to use the salt and pepper on the table. The food came out quickly and in a shared style which is what we were after. We’d definitely come back next time we’re in Havelock North.

Have visited twice in the last week, both times all round excellent.
Pork belly and bang bang cauliflower were the showstoppers for us.
Perfect swift service even when busy, def our new go to …. In a time where a lot of eateries are over priced and serve low quality dishes.
Def worth a visit, won’t disappoint.

This place is slightly off the beaten track so much so it is located next to a coffee roasting place that we visited and didn’t notice this place. The decor is completely off putting as is the seating. However the food is really good. Served as sharing platters 3 is more than enough for 2 people. Can recommend the bang bang cauliflower as the favourite.
The choc fish dessert wasn’t really worth it. Great wine list and some fantastic Italian ones as well. Will go back and would be great in a large group.

A lovely restaurant. Waitress was exceptional. Paid right amount of attention, was genuinely interested and made a few very helpful recommendations. Food was super enjoyable. Great wine options.
