“Location, location, location”
Reviewed 7 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

Beautiful condo in the lower part of the old city. The condo is very well maintained, a perfect space for families, and within walking distance of everything you will want to do in Vieux Quebec.
Surrounded by an abundance of restaurants and a short walk from the market in the Old Port, there was no shortage of gourmet dining options.
We loved this place and had a wonderful time in Quebec City.

“All that we envisioned for a stay in Old Quebec City!”

Beautifully decorated and stocked apartment--it was all that had been advertised and more. The location was fantastic, with the Old Marketplace and Quai across the street and the beginning of Old Quebec City on the street behind. It was quiet and clean and airy with a wonderful view of the old wall and quaint St. Paul's Street. We appreciated the parking that was provided, also just across the way. A five-star stay experience!

“Comfortable and Clean”

I rented this condo for husband and my senior parents for 3 nights during the time of Quebec's Winter Carnival. This condo was beautifully decorated and clean (just as shown in the pictures). Comfort and convenience was an important factor during my trip planning process, especially for my parents. My parents felt right at home during our stay and the condo was warm enough for us after spending time in the cold temperature outside all day. The kitchen was well equipped. It was very cold outside for us at night so we brought take out back to eat in the condo after the first night there and they had everything for us to eat indoors. The condo was walkable to the places we wanted to visit. We did have to take the funiculaire up to the upper town a few times since my senior parents were tired at times walking up and down in the snow to get to the upper town. This probably would not have been a problem for them during the summer time. We also had to buy shampoo and soap since we couldn't find any in the condo as advertised (maybe we couldn't locate it or maybe they forgot to put new ones in) but it wasn't a big deal and we got some at a local supermarket. The availability of a local telephone to make calls for a taxi was convenient. The walk up to the 4th floor wasn't bad though if you are not carrying anything heavy after unloading the luggage inside the condo. It was nice that there was a washer and dryer in unit so that we could do laundry if desired. The condo was also nice and quiet at night. We all looked forward to returning to the condo to rest up each night after being out all day during our stay there. E-mails were responded very quickly before and after payment (a lot quicker than I expected). A very sweet lady met up with us at the condo upon our arrival at Quebec and introduced everything in the condo to us and where we can go to buy things. She left us her number and the company's number in case we had any questions during our stay there.

This was a great condo for our three day trip to Quebec. It is in old port and is within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit. The kitchen was very well equipped and had a great farmers market around the corner.

“Fantastic Apartment, Extremely Convenient Location”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

My husband, teenage son and I stayed here for three nights at the end of July. Booking was quick and efficient and we were met on arrival in Quebec City.

There are several apartments in the renovated building, which does not have a lift. This apartment is on the 4th and 5th floors at the rear of the building, overlooking rue St-Paul, which meant that there was no problem with traffic noise. As it is situated on the upper floors there is plenty of light with views over the street and the buildings opposite and looking up to the ramparts. Parking was included and was just across the road from the front entrance.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. Downstairs, the living area was spacious with an extremely well equipped kitchen, a washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate utility room, and a washroom. The stairs led up to a full bathroom, a queen bed and comfortable chair on the mezzanine and a double murphy bed in a room to the rear. Please note that there is no door separating the bedroom from the mezzanine area which may be a problem if you wish to share with another couple and would like some privacy. The availability of wifi was very welcome.

The apartment was very convenient for walking to the Quartier Petit-Champlain and was only a five minute walk from the March du Vieux-Port, from where we purchased a lovely selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. We also found the walk up into Vieux Quebec very quick and easy - just a short stroll (about 100m) along rue St-Paul, up a cobbled street and one flight of steps and you are on the ramparts. We never felt the need to use the funiculaire.

While in Quebec City, we attended the Cirque du Soleil which was an easy, level walk of approx 15 minutes to the far side of the Vieux Port and there was also a craft exhibition almost directly opposite the apartment where we spent a very pleasant morning.

There are many restaurants, small art galleries and tourist shops in the area of Quartier Petit-Champlain which are all on the level, without having to venture up to Vieux Quebec in the evening if you are tired.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Quebec City and would not hesitate to stay here again on a future visit.
