“Perfect spot!”

What a beautiful place. Very spacious, clean, beautiful decor. Location is great - 5 minute walk to the funicular and Chateau Frontenac. Very comfortable place to spend a vacation. Will definitely return!

“Can't imagine any place better than this”

We had a top floor condo with enormous windows overlooking the St. Lawrence River. We were the first people to stay there after the renovation. Brand new everything. Lovely decor. Beautiful plants that helped make it feel like home, not like a hotel room. The property manager, Ed, and his wife, Carol, were phenomenally kind and helpful. They radiate niceness. Genvieve (sp?), I believe the office manager, was also extraordinarily nice. This place was huge (2000 sq ft?) and very, very open. Although it was described as a 3 bedroom, and we'd expected a three bedroom, there really are only 2 bedrooms. Ed said the secondary sitting area of the loft living space was the 3rd bedroom. It really wasn't but there was a nice couch with a comfortable sleeper sofa that worked fine for our 2 teenaged girls. Only one bedroom had an en suite bathroom, and that bathroom was the largest in the condo. The other bathroom was fine but considerably smaller, and it did not have a bathtub. If you're sharing with friends instead of family, know upfront the bedroom/bathroom division won't be equitable. That's fine but I think it's good to know that going in. It was 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus an extremely large living area that had 2 separate sitting areas plus a dining area plus a kitchen plus a laundry room with a full sized front load w/d that was brand new in April 2011. I'd originally intended to stay at the Auberge St Antoine which is literally right around the corner but am so glad I picked this place instead. There is an elevator or you can take 3 flights of stairs. There is free parking right at the base of the building; your bedrooms overlook this lot so you can see your car from there. I think there was a small outdoor terrace but it was very cold while we were there so we didn't go out onto it. I also believe there are more units available on the lower floors, and they may possibly have a different layout. I truly cannot imagine a more perfect location or unit to stay in. And it was surprisingly inexpensive compared to what you get. I really can not say enough good things about this place. Oh, one tiny negative I just recalled. The beds really aren't all that comfortable. The mattresses were new, just like everything else, but they weren't the comfiest mattresses going. We thought that was true of both of the beds. They definitely weren't awful but they weren't beds you sleep on and think, "wow, that's a great bed".

“Luxurious condo with great views”
Reviewed 4 July 2011 for a stay in June 2011

What an amazing experience! We were a large group of twenty-to-thirty-somethings here for a conference and we shared two condos, the Frontenac and the Chinic. Both condos were fully equipped with free wireless internet, linens, washer & dryer, full kitchens, everything down to the last oven mitt. Each condo could comfortably hold 4-5 people, but possibly more. The view of the river was absolutely amazing. The large living area was great for entertaining too. Big round of applause to the owners!

Management Response
3 Jul 2011
With the Medical (Brain Mapping) conference in town we were honored to have fine educational institutions like Harvard, Cambridge, and Amsterdam University decide to stay with us during the week-long conference. We knew that the bar would have to be set high to meet the needs of this clientele...... It was a pleasure helping you with your travel plans and I am glad that our units allowed you to taste living in the Place Royal area of Canada's Historic playground!
