We rented this gorgeously decorated loft for brief stay in Montreal during Memorial weekend this year. Loft has unique and exquisite interior design, very tasteful and elegant while leaving lot of room for imagination. Fusion of antique and contemporary styles, no details were neglected by the owners. Old windows are overlooking beautiful La Place Jacques-Cartier. Location is totally amazing with easy access to any of the historic sites, restaurants, parks, McGill University, etc. We walked 10-15 kilometers every day through this beautiful city, we immensely enjoyed local restaurants, we went to theater, we climbed Mont Royal, the bravest of us (not the author of the review though) had long ride on zip-line in the old port in front of the gorgeous The Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel. We loved sitting on the window sill looking at the plaza, writing postcards and notes, making sketches, feeling cool spring breeze, listening to lively old Montreal sounds. Also we were offered parking space in the garage 5 min from the apartment, totally secure and convenient. Thank you very much to the owners of the place who made pur stay totally enjoyable. 5 stars.
The loft is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Rather eccentric decor - we were always noticing something new and different. We used all the space - we sat in the living room, using the antique wheel-chair; sat at the kitchen bar and at the long table. Granted there are no discreet bedrooms but that is evident from the photos. It's on the first floor ( not the ground floor) overlooking Place Jacques Cartier so fun to watch the world go by. Lots of light - sleep mask recommended. Nice bedding - plenty of duvets, pillows, towels, etc. Kitchen missing a few items - like a sharp knife, and oddly, there were no small side plates. But gazillions of glasses, bowls, etc. So pretty well equipped.
