Great stay in an awesome part of Montreal! Clean and spacious living. The apartment is within walking distance of all of old port including nice restaurants and bistros. The Notre Dame Bascillica is also located right around the corner
Apartment is clean, modern and comfortable, on top floor (21st) so away from road noise. Needs some basic maintenance eg light bulbs replacing; also needs some additional equipment in kitchen, but nothing to spoil the overall experience. Well located for old town and old port. It is in a residential apt block so if you are checking in / out bear in mind there is no reception to leave bags; just a couple of chairs in the lobby area.
Would stay here again.
We stayed at this apartment during the Women's World Cup as well as Montreal Jazz Festival. The apartment is an easy walk to two metro stops, as well as at least one Jazz Festival venue. It was also an easy walk to a number of other attractions (Pointe-a-Calliere museum, science museum, Notre Dame, Vielle Montreal, river front/port, etc). The apartment itself was a nice size for a family of 4, and had a nice view of the Montreal skyline. It has the feel of a corporate rental apartment, so if you are looking for a charming or "atmospheric" apartment, this isn't the one for you. A few quibbles--the kitchen didn't have much in the way of cooking/storing items. For example, it would have been great to have more than 2 cereal bowls or one coffee mug. Also, we couldn't find a place to empty trash from the apartment, or to place recycling.
