An adaquet thing to do if it’s raining. A lot of places to eat and some shops, but the underground is very confusing if you’re not sure we’re your going, and the guide maps are no help.

There are several complexes scattered throughout (or accessible via long tunnels). The choices are just ok. The information staff are only limited to their complex (understandably) but there is no comparison available to see what is where so they should either learn a bit more about the area or have management provide highlights and features of each complex. Be prepared because every complex is under renovation so you have noise and run arounds to get to your destination. If you choose to go topside to get there faster be aware as many streets are now blocked off. It was a nightmare to get from one end of the city to the other.

We visited underground city during the rain. It was impressive with plenty of stores and a food court area. There are some areas where it was difficult to get around with a stroller.

We were taken here on a free walking tour. Labyrinth of tunnels connecting different blocks, metro and train station with plenty of cafes and shops on the way. Light and clean. Ideal if the weather is bad.
For those who have never seen it, there is part of the old Berlin Wall in one area.
Worth a look.
