The service at this hotel is what makes it! While my deluxe king room was spacious, well laid out (with all the switches and plugs where they should be) and well equipped (Nespresso machine, complimentary water and soft drinks, blackout drapes), what really distinguished this hotel from many many many others was how personable thoughtful and helpful the service was. Every single person in the hotel went out of their way to help. You know how at so many hotels you call for something and wait and wait for a response? If you need something fixed, addressed, brought to you at the Hazelton, someone will be at your door with in minutes. A special shout out to my fellow Elaine in in room dining who put a smile on my face every morning. Breakfast was quite yummy - didn't have time to try any of the other meals at the restaurant. This is how good the hotel is - the robes have the belts in the loops!!! (My biggest pet peeve ever is fighting with the robe when someone is knocking at the door.) Will not stay anywhere else in Toronto.
