I had things stolen from my room. A shopping bag with a pair of very expensive jeans and a pair of expensive pajamas. Plus I left my phone charger and when I called the hotel, they said housekeeping didn't turn anything in. I have never had anything stolen from my room ever until now

The staff who served us at the MEDA conference were totally invested in doing the best job possible. They were gracious at all times and committed to customer service. In addition, the food was creative and delicious.

Location wise is the most this hotel has going for it. Lots of great places to eat nearby. It’s close to Chinatown, Queens St, Kensington market and has the large CF Eaton centre mall next to it. The breakfast however is a rip off, the one day I did eat there out of necessity I ordered an avocado toast - the avo was dark and I found a hair on my food, and paid 24 CAD for the privilege. Also who still charges for Internet??? and at extortionate prices unless of course you sign up to be a BonVoy member - and even then you get the lower tier. The room was ok - but was grubby and I used an alcohol wipe to clean the side tables and lamp. Not great when the room rate was very high due to low availability in Toronto that week.

If ever a hotel room needed a refresh, that was the one I stayed in. It could not have been more gray and drab brown than if that was what the designer set out to do. That said, the bed was good and the pillows fine. Front desk staff helpful. But the price was high (500 Canadian for one night) and amenities nil. Also, the hotel is very close but not connected to Eaton Mall.

We most have gotten one of the worst rooms at the hotel. Room 1027 and nearby all seem to be the same. There is a very small corner window. The curtains can't open properly which makes the room extremely dark. Added to that all the furniture is dark as well. As we only stayed for 2 nights we did not asked to be moved.
But be aware. This room category is not featured on their photos.
