When we pay over $500/night, we expect a five star room. This, at best, was a 3.5. Yes, it’s an old inn, the rooms are small, but modern conveniences like phone plug-ins, a television large enough to see, and a balcony you can actually use and not just look at? We went to the patio for an evening drink and after 25 minutes someone actually came and asked in a shocked manner did we want to order🤷‍♀️. Really? We stayed in the Merlot Room and I even spoke to the manager as we left (which was the best part of the experience - leaving).

Set in a gorgeous and restored old manor, the rooms reflect the history this place has, while being very comfortable and inviting.
We had a very memorable and romantic weekend at Riverbend overlooking the vineyard while sipping wine during a beautiful sunset.
The staff was friendly especially at their in-house restaurant which is convenient and had great offerings.
We booked at wine tour at Peller Estates which is a fairly close walk or drive away.
I would definitely go back and will be recommending this place to others.

I never leave a bad review but this was not a great stay. For the whooping $500+ stay each night you get mediocre stay. The hotel itself (specifically our room) felt really outdated. Nobody in the room can sleep while others taking shower because the pipes are so loud. We could hear everyone above us walking. The matresses on our 2 queen size beds were not comfortable at all. On top of that the hotel overcharged us and it took multiple calls and a whole week for them to address that. The location is beautiful and we were looking forward to take a ride on their bikes. None of them were available during the weekend unless you wake up really early. The front desk people need to get training on how to program multiple keys and generally be friendlier. Their manager was not much better. Not staying here again.
