We stayed here one night during the Grape & Wine Festival and were pleasantly surprised. Very clean, well-appointed room, comfortable bed, good bathroom, decent breakfast, friendly staff. The hotel is perfectly situated to visit the wineries, the outlets, even Niagara Falls. We would definitely stay here again.

Very confortable and well located. Front desk service was really good, fare rates. We stayed there while we visited vineyards at the zone, the Niagara Waterfalls, Niagara on The Lake and did some shopping at the Outlets in front the Hotel.

Nice room that included a free complimentry breakfast. Staff was very nice and helpful. Pool was aso very nice. A little far from the town but there are some nice winery's close by that are very nice.

Fairly new and clean, well appointed, well maintained, well managed, nice location half way between Niagara Falls and wonderful Niagara-on-the-Lake, next to Outlet Center. Breakfast area well looked after. Guest laundry with lots of machines. Front staff friendly, housekeeping o.k.. Hotel recommended for a visit to the Falls and do not miss the Wine Country.

We came into town for an overnight, on a Saturday no less, and there was a lot of people and activity. We were surprised at the size of the property, and that is was conjoined to the StayBridge. SB is our go-to, but the higher price made us choose the HIX. We were not disappointed.
We were very pleased that the staff honored all of our preferences from our profile and as requested in our reservation. The room was very clean. This has not been our usual experience lately with HIX. There was an abundance of towels in the bathroom, and the lights were very bright in both the bath and the room which was a nice change, again, from the usual HIX experience.
Breakfast at 930am on Sunday morning was packed! Literally not an open chair to sit in, but there were trays provided for taking food elsewhere so we decided to take ours back to our room. The food was really well-stocked and rotated which made us very happy. It was also better quality than we have seen lately in the US.
So again, far better than our usual HIX experiences lately.
Is the difference Canada vs US? No idea, but this was a really great experience. We would definitely choose this property again.
