We stayed here for 1 night to fully experience Niagara Falls. We arrived at the hotel very early so our room wasn’t ready. There is plenty of parking and we just left our luggage in the car and headed out to see the falls. This hotel is a bit further from the falls than some, but we walked it in about 15 minutes. The daily parking charge was lower than for many of the hotels nearer the falls. We appreciated the warm cookies when we checked in. We booked a Falls View room and were very pleased with our room on the top floor which had a stunning view of the American Falls. You won’t see Horseshoe Falls from this hotel because a few other buildings block the view. The hotel was clean and comfortably and we feel it was a good choice. I’d certainly stay here again if I did a return visit to Niagara.

We’re Hilton diamond members so stayed here in a king suite on the 18th floor. View was good. We could see the falls & fireworks from the room. The suite was spacious but kind of out dated. Bed was too hard and so was the couch in the living room. There was NOT a microwave in the room. I contacted the front desk and found out none of the rooms have a microwave (🤦‍♀️). The food $ credit you get for being a diamond member only covers continental breakfast NOT the full buffet. We ordered off the menu the first morning and the second morning went to the starbucks stand in the hotel and were able to get 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 muffins which they heated up for us. I would recommend a different hotel.

I did a lot of research prior to booking a hotel. Our most important criteria is cleanliness. We were not disappointed with the DoubleTree. We stayed in three different rooms during our stay. Each room was clean and everything in working order. The staff went above and beyond. We had a request which upon first look could not be accommodated but the employee (sorry, name was not obtained) followed up with his manager. Kudos go out to Front Office Manager Jennifer Rogers who followed up and called us to advise our request could be accommodated. Hotel is located directly across the street from a WeGo bus stop. Would definitely stay at the DoubleTree Fallsview in the future.
