So, what could have been a disaster turned out to be a great getaway.
We booked through our credit card and when we arrived the room we had reserved was not what we were given. The desk clerk looked at my phone (confirmation number, room type, etc) but said we had a completely different room on a low floor.
Cindy the manager got involved and somehow was able to rectify the situation and we were off to our room with a beautiful view of the falls and the nightly fireworks. Top floor to boot. She was calm, empathetic and did her best to fix the issue. We were t from supreme disappointment with our credit card company to a great two days at a hotel with a comfortable room, great bed, and quiet room. We loved it.
If we come back to Niagara we would surely stay here. We walked to everything and enjoyed everything right down to the cookies. All thanks to Cindy.
