This is not a great hotel but not terrible either. I did not have the breakfast buffet.
The Good:
* Amazing view! Could see from the Rainbow bridge to the American falls to the Canadian falls.
* Location is great -- a 2 minute walk to the Hornblower Cruise, Ziplines, and Clifton Hill.
* Was clean with a comfortable bed.
* Shower had both hand-held wand and rain shower -- both had very good pressure.
* Bathtub had jets for jacuzzi, though we didn't try it.
* Free bottled water, free coffee.
* Room had a fireplace.
* Has a heated outdoor pool that was decent.
* Has indoor-connection to the indoor Water Park (separate charge).
The Middling:
* The "VIP" Firework experience is pretty expensive for what you get. $70 USD for a Charcuterie Board (which is cheese, crackers, lunch meat, fruit), a bottle of champagne, and cheap plastic seats/table. If they at least upgraded the seats/tables it would feel more "VIP".
* Room was a decent size, though not great considering the cost ($580 USD per night -- King Fallsview, Juliet Balcony, High Floor, Fireplace, Whirlpool)
* The 'balcony' isn't a real balcony. It's basically a barred window that you can open.
The Bad:
* Not great sound-proofing. Could hear very clearly when another unit was running their shower (not sure if it was next to us or above/below us).
* Parking is $58 USD per night (which includes some ridiculous fees they don't tell you about).
* The lobby is super crowded as the hotel is connected to a restaurant.
* Checkout took nearly 45 minutes waiting in line. The people at the counter kept allowing others to cut the line (walk up to the counter without waiting). Very disorganized and unprofessional.
* No robe, no slippers, no toothbrush/toothpaste, no fridge,
