Birthday trip

Definitely a beautiful view but expensive. Hotel is clean and very quiet. Extremely busy. It is a long wait for elevators
Great location for attractions and restaurants.
The room was nice but several things
There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. After a shower the steam took a while to clear. Also a bathroom fan comes in handy for other bathroom issues .
No peep holes in the door to see who is there.
Also we book online. Up popped a charge for a resort fee for Nearly 400.00 I questioned the by phone and in person. The check in desk handed me a brochure of all the overpriced restaurants and a Spa I could enjoy if I pay. Nothing is free at the Sheraton Resort ...Lol.
Parking is 54$ per night .
The indoor / outdoor pools are nice
Plus they put a 150.00 hold on your card for possible damages to room
I took pictures of how I left it.
Yes I will return but in the off season when it's cheaper and not so busy.

We spent one night at the hotel. We parked at the shared parking garage with the Crowne Plaza. The hotel caters very much to families.
The walls are thinner than we were used to, as we could hear the conversation our neighbours were having through the vent in our bathroom. The hotel is located very close to Clifton Hill.
We ate breakfast at the buffet in the Fallsview Restaurant and had a wonderful view of the falls.

This is not a great hotel but not terrible either. I did not have the breakfast buffet.

The Good:
* Amazing view! Could see from the Rainbow bridge to the American falls to the Canadian falls.
* Location is great -- a 2 minute walk to the Hornblower Cruise, Ziplines, and Clifton Hill.
* Was clean with a comfortable bed.
* Shower had both hand-held wand and rain shower -- both had very good pressure.
* Bathtub had jets for jacuzzi, though we didn't try it.
* Free bottled water, free coffee.
* Room had a fireplace.
* Has a heated outdoor pool that was decent.
* Has indoor-connection to the indoor Water Park (separate charge).

The Middling:
* The "VIP" Firework experience is pretty expensive for what you get. $70 USD for a Charcuterie Board (which is cheese, crackers, lunch meat, fruit), a bottle of champagne, and cheap plastic seats/table. If they at least upgraded the seats/tables it would feel more "VIP".
* Room was a decent size, though not great considering the cost ($580 USD per night -- King Fallsview, Juliet Balcony, High Floor, Fireplace, Whirlpool)
* The 'balcony' isn't a real balcony. It's basically a barred window that you can open.

The Bad:
* Not great sound-proofing. Could hear very clearly when another unit was running their shower (not sure if it was next to us or above/below us).
* Parking is $58 USD per night (which includes some ridiculous fees they don't tell you about).
* The lobby is super crowded as the hotel is connected to a restaurant.
* Checkout took nearly 45 minutes waiting in line. The people at the counter kept allowing others to cut the line (walk up to the counter without waiting). Very disorganized and unprofessional.
* No robe, no slippers, no toothbrush/toothpaste, no fridge,

We had an incredible view. But we paid for it. If you want a guaranteed good view, you have to make sure you choose the falls view, high floor. It was worth the extra money for us to upgrade to that option because we had 3 kids under 5, and it was the best way to experience the fireworks at night. I also enjoyed sitting in the morning just listening to the sound of the falls while being able to see the US and Canadian falls. Location was also prime for Clifton hills and other touristy stuff. We visited the rooftop pool for a bit and had fun there and enjoyed the view.

Why didn’t I rate it 5 stars? Because the cleanliness of the hotel room. The vent looked as if it had never been dusted. I also dislike when bathrooms don’t have an exhaust because where does all the moisture go? Well, the ceiling had black mold spots all over above the bathroom ceiling. If the location and hotel room view wasn’t as good as it was, I would’ve given less stars.

Room tip: If what you want is the view, make sure you choose the high floor option otherwise it may be blocked

The staff were great, beds were comfy! Indoor & outdoor pool. This is connected to the water park, hard rock, crowne plaza & Niagara Casino. Starbucks & gift shop. There’s a food court with burgers, pizza & subway. The buffet in Sheraton was terrible but the view was great lol. Caution on Fallsview, we got a partial view but they did offer to switch us the next day.

All staff polite, helpful, courteous, attentive.

Room not sparkling clean, but OK.

The breakfast buffet had some serious sanitation lapses:
-plates not completely clean.
-flatware not completely clean.
-plates stacked for use but still wet.
-juice glasses stacked upside down for use (good), but full of post-dishwashing moisture (bad),

Based on my experience managing large food service operations, I got the impression that the restaurant was either short of serving ware, had problems with the dishwashing equipment, or both. For example, one day there were no containers for the cream that some people like to put in their coffee. Juice glasses full of cream were served instead. This created a shortage of juice glasses, so regular-sized tumblers were set out for juice. Customers served themselves tumblers full of juice, which caused juice to run out. There also seemed to be a shortage of both servers and managers. If I stay here again I'll save money by foregoing the breakfast package, and get my breakfast from nearby restaurants.

Room tip: You can save money by foregoing the breakfast package, and getting breakfast from nearby restaurants.
