We have enjoyed our stay in Whistler at the Listel. Only problem has been lack of sleep due to loud music thumping away into the early hours. Not great after a hard days skiing. Very disappointing as, otherwise could not fault the hotel, room or service.

Room tip: Definitely ask for a Junior Suite where you have room to sit other than on your bed!

Hello Googie12345,
I am sorry to hear of your disappointing sleep during your stay. I am not sure what the circumstances were with this incident, but will follow up with the adjacent and nearby restaurants to see if we can avoid this from happening again in the future.
I am happy to see that from your review that the hotel did deliver otherwise with the guest room and service provided. I do hope you have the opportunity to stay with us again in the future.

One of the coolest things to do. Really cool ice room. The ice walls are notched out for all vodka bottles to sit in. The give you these cool parkas to wear it a must. Damion was extremely fun great since of humor and knew his vodkas. He made the experience that much better.

A great place only a 200m walk to gondolas that access both blackcomb and Whistler mountains, good sized rooms with 2 queen size bed. Very comfortable beds, nice linen, clean and warm. We booked through a travel agent and our 8 night stay included a 7 day lift pass which proved to be excellent vale, continental breakfast included, selections of fruit, cereal, juice, yoghurt , toast and baked goods. Hot tub and sauna also available. Staff very friendly and helpful, would recommend.

Enjoyed a week skiing in January and selected the Listel based on a recommendation from a friend who had stayed there in the past. Nice warm welcome from the reception staff and very friendly during all interactions. Really like the ski valet where you leave your kit in reception and they get taken to a secure storage area overnight, then you ask for them in the morning as you go for breakfast, nice touch.

Breakfast was a bit frantic some days as there is limited seating which makes it a bit awkward if you arrive at a busy time (and we varied our times and was always pretty full), but the staff in the breakfast area worked hard and were constantly topping up the stocks make sure there was food for everyone. Another breakfast area with more seating would definitely take the breakfast experience up from OK to very good. No bar in the hotel, apart from the vodka room which was by appointment only, so never made that but it looked fun and they had a fair amount of people going in there.

Unfortunately only a very small hot tub and the sauna was off the night we went down to check it out, but not essential as the rooms have shower and bath with very hot water, so soak in the bath was fine to ease the muscles.

Location is just off the main street and a relatively short 4 minute walk to the main gondola, all in all I enjoyed the stay and would return if I visit Whistler again.

Hello M4RK_H. Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay, getting to meet our team and enjoy the continental breakfast. I am sorry to hear the sauna was off the night of your stay. I will have our team investigate and ensure there is not an ongoing issue there. We look forward to seeing you again.

A great week had at The Listel Hotel in Whistler, the complimentary continental breakfast was a wonderful surprise and a great time saver, meaning we could get up the mountain quicker.

The hotel is perfectly situated, being as short walk from both gondolas but far enough away from the night spots to be quite when needed. Also have ice making machines on the floor for drinks, or as in my case, injuries!

The staff are helpful and accommodating, rooms clean and beds where so very comfortable that both my son and I enjoyed great nights sleep.

Will be back to stay at The Listel, thank you for making our trip effortless.
