Recommended by doorman at Empress Hotel. Easy walk to it. Warned about the wait, but was only about 20 minutes. I liked the cod, wife liked the halibut. Both liked the fries. Cole slaw ok, neither of us liked the chowder, it was too spicy. Out of the salmon.
Great sitting outside at “bar like” seats looking out at the water.
I would definitely go again.

Delicious food, great location - well worth a visit. The Halibut and Chips was really good, portion sizes just right. Lovely to watch the sea planes landing and taking off and the sun setting as you are eating.

We stopped in for a light snack after kayaking in the downtown Victoria harbour and luckily for us there was hardly a line. As we had dinner plans later we only order a jerk taco, a cod taco and a cup of chowder. I wasn’t prepared for how large the portions were and the tacos were equally delicious. The jerk fish taco had an especially nice spice to it. I didn’t care for the chowder as it had way too much corn in it but my dining partner raved about it. It’s too bad this place doesn’t have a liquor license as a cold beer to wash down those tacos would have been top notch.

Recently had lunch here after a long flight from Australia. There was quite a queue but it moved quickly. It took minutes before we had our fish n chips which were fantastic. Recommend this place.

Had a good portion of the cod and chips. Comes with tarter sauce and a small coleslaw. It was very yummy although I took a lot of the batter off as it was a little greasy. It was a little cool outside and windy. It was a good fix of our craving of fish and chips!
